Britta Heinemann is a PhD student at the Chair of Forest History. She holds an M.Sc. in Forest Sciences and a B.Sc. in Forest Management and Environment from the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg. Her dissertation examines the gainful employment of women and minors in wood-based trades in the Black Forest in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Her research is funded by the Landesgraduiertenförderung.
